Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Test
Through throat or nasal swabs, this test detects the genetic information of the virus, or its RNA. This will exist only if the virus is there and someone is actively infected. Samples are sent to centralized labs for analysis. Generally these are the most reliable tests. Accessories include VTM/Swabs and RNA extraction kits. Two versions are available:
A) AQ-TOP 30 min, single gene

MicroDigital’s AB96-COVID1-19 lgG is an ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit for detection of lgG antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 Nucleocapcid Protein and can be used to confirm past infections or asymptomatic infections. The test is intended for the qualitative detection of total antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in human serum, (including fingerstick blood) providing a valuable aid for identifying individuals with an adaptive immune response to SARS-CoV-2 that indicates recent or prior infection.
